Synopsis

Murders, robberies, sexual assaults: these are the kinds of things that occupy the daily lives of public prosecutors – men and women who never hesitate to face complex challenges, as we discover in the dramatic series Toute la vérité. At the centre of the story, there’s brilliant Brigitte, who brings youthful passion and dedication to the cases assigned to her by her sympathetic boss Marc. Her colleagues include Maxime, who handles sexual assaults; Sylvain on preliminary hearings; and Véronique, who’s just back from maternity leave. And then there’s Dominique, also known (behind her back) as the Dominatrix. Finally, there’s Samuel, Brigitte’s lover, with whom she gets along so well… except when, as a defence lawyer, he’s doing his best to avoid prison for the accused individuals his sweetheart is working hard to convict.

From one trial to the next, we see Brigitte and her colleagues juggling professional and personal lives, trying to maintain some kind of balance in the face of never-ending challenges. Toute la vérité is a timely and gripping series in which human nature sometimes overrules sound judgement.
