Rap arabe

Datsit

Synopsis

Many artists, three countries, one language: Arabic, one style: hip-hop. From Casablanca to Alep, young voices are heard. Their words are black gold that they distill like gas in a luxury car, rap, a well-oiled engine of mixing tables and music samplings. Their names are Malikah, Ashekman, Lil Zac and Don Bigg and they paint a portrait of their countries of origin. Young artists performing contortions from East to West, traditional moves to those of today, but who will dare speak if we take their speech away?
