Synopsis

Providence is a dramatic series that tells the story of a troubled family unfolding across three generations.

Édith Beauchamp, an indomitable businesswoman in charge of a family-owned cheese enterprise in rural Quebec, is making plans for retirement. She must pass the torch to a worthy candidate. But her choice of successor stirs up passions, and those passions are further inflamed when figures from the past appear on the scene.
