Ni plus ni moi

Marc-Antoine, a high-status marketing consultant, has lost touch with the real world – or so says his boss. Now his job is on the line. Which is a problem, because Marc-Antoine and his girlfriend have just made an offer to buy a luxurious house, and they’re planning to start a family. Under pressure, Marc-Antoine decides to re-acquaint himself with the real world by taking a part-time job as a cook and dishwasher at a run-down restaurant in a working-class neighbourhood. His new double life awakens him to unsuspected traits in his personality, causing him to reconsider the choices he’s made. His existence, and those of the people close to him, are profoundly changed. This romantically-tinged dramatic comedy explores themes of identity, variable destiny, authenticity and the challenge of being truly oneself.
