Synopsis

How far are we willing to go to achieve happiness? That’s the question facing the main characters of Richard Blaimert’s new dramatic series. No one could have predicted that Hubert (Thomas Beaudoin) and Fanny (Mylène St-Sauveur) would meet. But during a hold-up gone wrong, fearing for their lives, they form a bond as deep as it is undefinable. Where will it lead? Their loved ones are also at turning points. Hubert’s mother Mimi (Anne-Marie Cadieux) must break the cycle of searching for love and finding disappointment. Fanny’s younger brother Justin (André Kasper) must confront the underlying reasons for the dissatisfaction he’s felt with his body since childhood. Justin’s mother Hélène (Fanny Mallette) must find new meaning after everything she once took for granted is thrown into doubt. And Hubert’s father Claude (Marc Messier) must make peace with his past and start living again. Is it possible that by letting go and being carried away by love, Hubert and Fanny stand the best chance of achieving happiness?
